Biological Clock
The “Biological Clock” collection is based on a charcoal drawing by McCrea Davison that was published in 2018 in Madam & Eve Women Portraying Woman, by Liz Rideal and Kathleen Soriano. The piece is about the emotional experience of a woman as she is faced with what seems like an either-or choice between motherhood and pursuing dreams of career success. Her future is presented as a binary choice with a biological timer pressuring her to decide.
